As many people the Xbox One has been available in retail since late 2013. Along with the likes of the PlayStation 4 and the Nintendo Switch the Xbox One is considered to be one of the the hottest game systems in the market right now. While Microsoft’s Xbox One has been competing with Sony’s PlayStation 4 for the past couple of years there seems to be a wide gap between how much each game console has sold. Since its release the PlayStation 4 has reportedly sold at least 79 million units worldwide while the exact number of sales for the Xbox One has never been revealed.

However, there has been a lot of speculation that the Xbox One console has managed to sell somewhere between 25-30 million units worldwide. On one hand the the Xbox One May have higher sales than the Wii-U, GameCube, Dreamcast along with the Sega Saturn. But it’s obvious that the Xbox One has sold less than half of what the PS4 has since late 2013. In this case it may be questionable to some on whether or not the Xbox One is a success as a game console in general. But its definitely clear that Sony definitely has the lead over Microsoft right now as far as the console wars are concerned.
