The Tetris series has been around since the early 80’s and is considered to be legendary within the gaming world. For those who have been fans of Teri’s since 1984 you will be happy to know that a new game entitled Tetris Effect will be released for the PlayStation 4 along with the PlayStation VR during the Fall of 2018. The idea of having a Tetris game for the PlayStation VR is something that could not only bring back long time fans of the series by also attract modern day gamers who are not too familiar with the 30 plus year old franchise.

The visuals, backgrounds and soundtracks of the game look amazing. Also, Tetris effect will include multiple game modes such as Marathon, Ultra and Sprint. In addition Tetris Effect is expected to have over 30 different stages which will take players on a journey from oceans of the Earth to Outer Space.

On the PlayStation 4 Pro the video game developer Enhance guaranteed that the game would have 4K resolution and would run up to 60 frames per second. As of right now there has been no talk on whether or not Tetris Effect would appear on the Xbox One or even the Nintendo Switch. However, this can all change later down the line possibly depending on how successful Tetris Effect is on the PS4.
