When it comes down to big fighting titles of the mid 00’s one of the most memorable titles that comes to mind was Dragon Ball Z: Budokai Tenkaichi. Since its release back in 2005 Dragon Ball Z: Budokai Tenkaichi has been released for consoles such as the PS2, PSP, PS3, Xbox 360 and the Nintendo Wii. As far as the fighting genre of gaming was concerned there was not too many big titles on the Nintendo GameCube.

The Nintendo GameCube had titles such as Super Smash Bros: Melee, Naruto: Clash of Ninja, Mortal Kombat: Deception, Soul Calibur 2 which were all solid to great fighting games. However, DBZ: Budokai Tenkaichi was a game that could have definitely shined on the Nintendo GameCube despite the other popular fighting titles that were on that console. The 3D gameplay for Tenkaichi was fun especially for those who were DBZ fans and had a high replay value. However, it would have been unlikely that a GameCube version of Tenkaichi would have had more success than the PS2 port.
