As many people know Street Fighter III: 3rd Strike was a popular fighting title that was released in arcade centers following Street Fighter III: 2nd Impact during the late 90’s. Since the release of Street Fighter III: 3rd Strike on the Sega Dreamcast in 2000 the game was also ported for the PS2 and Xbox during 2004. There are some who question why Capcom never brought Street Fighter III: 3rd Strike to the Nintendo GameCube back in the early 00’s.

In theory, Street Fighter III: Third Strike could have worked for the Nintendo GameCube. However, it’s questionable on how well Street Fighter III: Third Strike would have done in terms of sales. But to be quite honest Street Fighter III: 3rd Strike was better suited for the PS2 since it was more popular than GameCube during the early 00’s.
