As many people know the Mother series was popular back in the 90’s. When Mother 2 also know as Earthbound was released for the SNES back in 1994 it was one of the most popular RPG titles that the world has seen on the 16 bit console. Ever since the release of Mother 2 back in the in the early 90’s the game received a sequel that was released exclusively in Japan entitled Mother 3 which was for the Game Boy Advance during 2006. Even though, the series has substantially declined in popularity since the early 90’s seeing it revived on the Nintendo Switch would turn many heads within the gaming world.

Despite, Mother 3 being a critically acclaimed role playing title for the Game Boy Advance during the 00’s the idea of seeing a Mother 4 in the future is unlikely. Japanese game designer Shigesato Itoi had revealed a few years ago that he had no plans for a direct sequel to Mother 3. Also, its doubtful that HAL Laboratory and Nintendo have any plans on having a Mother 4 game on the Switch console as well.
