When it comes down to RPG titles for the Mega Drive/ Sega Genesis the Phantasy Star series is the first thing that comes to mind. As far as potential titles for the Mega Drive Mini is concerned it’s almost impossible not to include Phantasy Star I-IV. The Phantasy Star series was almost like Sega’s version of the Final Fantasy series and was very popular during the early 90’s.

As far as big titles for the Sega Mega Drive/Genesis consoles are concerned the Phantasy Star series seemed like a step below the Sonic the Hedgehog trilogy in terms of popularity. If Sega brings back the legendary Phantasy Star series to the Mini Mega Drive console it will attract a ton of retro games from the early 90’s while appealing to many people in this current generation.
