For those who are fans of shoot em up games you will be happy to know that Ikaruga will be appearing on the Nintendo Switch. For those who don’t know the original Ikaruga was a bullet shoot em up video game that first appeared on the Nintendo GameCube and Dreamcast following its arcade release during the early 00’s. Similar to the Ikaruga game of the early 00’s the Nintendo Switch version will feature co-op 2 player gameplay along with a single player mode.

The news regarding the release of Ikaruga recently broke when video game developer Nicalis Inc confirmed that they would be working with the makers of the original title Treasure Co Ltd. As of right now Ikaruga is expected to appear on the Nintendo Switch on May 29th. For those who are fans of the shoot em up genre of gaming Ikaruga is definitely a title worth checking out if you currently own the Nintendo Switch.
