When it comes down to video game tracks for racing titles there were many memorable theme songs from the 90’s. During the early 90’s we got “Big Blue” for the F-Zero game which was released for the SNES back in 1991. Big Blue was one of the catchiest soundtracks in the entire F-Zero series next to “Mute City”. As cool as Big Blue was for the SNES back in the early 90’s many would argue that it pales in comparison to songs like Gran Turismo 1’s “Moon Over The Castle”.

The Moon Over The Castle Theme was composed by Masahiro Andoh and is considered to be one of the greatest VGM’s in gaming history. As cool as Big Blue was for F-Zero on the SNES many would agree that Moon Over The Castle was a more epic theme especially considering the fact that Gran Turismo was released on the 32 bit PS1 console. During the late 90’s Moon Over The Castle sounded like it was ahead of its time which makes the theme itself that more impressive.
