When it comes down to side scrolling beat em up titles of the 90’s Comix Zone was one of the most creative titles within that genre during the time. On the Sega Genesis Comix Zone looked impressive and there are some who question whether or not a hand with similar features could have worked on the Super Nintendo Entertainment System back in the early 90’s. While some might disagree that a game like Comix Zone could work on the SNES other would argue that it could.

When it came down to 2D sprites and graphics there were some SNES titles that had impressive features such Mode 7 which really added to the quality of games such as Super Castlevania IV and F-Zero. There is no doubt that a beat em up like Comix Zone could have worked for the SNES back in the 90’s especially considering how creative Nintendo was back in the day.
