There is no doubt that the Ninja Turtles game for the NES was arguably the hardest video game ever created in the history of gaming. As a result the NES Ninja Turtles game is considered to be legendary by many people around the world. In terms on whether or not the NES Ninja Turtles game could have worked on the SNES is up to speculation. In theory a SNES remake of the NES Ninja Turtles game could have worked out if Konami has any plans to make it happen during the early 90’s.

However, about two years later after the NES Ninja Turtles game was released we got to see TMNT: Turtles in Time which fans of the series and critics liked more. Seeing how popular TMNT: Turtles in Time was in arcade centers following its release in 1991 nobody was really interested in the NES Ninja Turtles game anymore at that point. Besides the beat em up genre seemed to fit Ninja Turtles more than the platform style of gaming.
