When it comes down to JRPG titles of 2017 one of the many Nintendo 3DS titles that stands out among many is Alliance Alive. In fact when Alliance Alive was first released back in June 2017 it was just as popular in Japan as the “Arms” game was for the Nintendo Switch during that same month.

Since its release Alliance Alive has managed to sell at least 30K units in Japan which is not bad for a JRPG title. The Alliance Alive could possibly do better in sales if the game is ported for the Nintendo Switch considering the fact that more people prefer it has a handheld console over the 3DS nowadays. While having the Alliance Alive would be cool it’s unclear whether or not the developer Cattle Call has any plans on bringing this JRPG title to the Switch console in the future.

One response to “Should Alliance Alive be ported for the Nintendo Switch?”

  1. Although more ports for Switch isn’t a bad idea, I think investing on new original titles would be even better: seeing most of the actual catalog of the console is made of ports. Still, it’s pretty common on most consoles to have ports released on the first years, and then in the second or third year releasing tons of original new games that become classic (this thing happened with GBA)
