It has been recently reported that Masahiro Sakurai the creator of the Smash Bros series has recently revealed that he is currently working on another Super Smash Bros game for the Nintendo Switch. As it currently stands the upcoming Super Smash Bros game for the Nintendo Switch is expected to appear sometime in 2018. Sakurai has been the director for every game in the Smash Bros series since its inception when the very first game was released for the N64 in 1999.

There are various other titles that the world is waiting to see on the Nintendo Switch such as Diablo III, Bloodstained: Ritual of the Night, Kirby Star Allies and others. The upcoming Super Smash Bros game for the Nintendo Switch May be one of the most anticipated titles for the hybrid console since Super Mario Odessey which was released back in October 2017.
