Ever since it’s release in late September 2017 Marvel vs Capcom: Infinite has managed to be one of the top fighting titles in the gaming world. However, Marvel vs. Capcom is generally criticized by some for its roster especially considering the exclusion of X-Men characters since they are now owned by Disney. Also, the comic book style animation that was included in Marvel vs Capcom 3 which contributed to the games appeal is now absent in MvC Infinite.

Just because X-Men characters can not be included in Marvel vs Capcom: Infinite does not mean other characters from the prequel should be excluded. There are Capcom characters such as Felicia and Hsien-Ko from DarkStalkers along with C-Viper & Akuma from Super Street Fighter IV who would make great additions to the MvC Infinite as DLC characters. While the overall game itself feels very different from Marvel vs Capcom 3 such as escaping the comic book style graphics in favor of realistic visuals courtesy of the Unreal Engine 4; having older Capcom characters can definitely make a difference in relation to the overall quality of the game itself.
