When it comes down to RPG titles from the early 00’s there were so many cool games. Two of the most popular RPG titles that comes to mind are Kingdom Hearts: Chain of Memories and Golden Sun. In terms of which game was better is highly debatable. The 2D visuals from Golden Sun was arguably the best that anyone would see in a Game Boy Advance title. Also, the puzzle games in Golden Sun were generally interesting and forced players to use their mind a lot while professing throughout story. The concept of utilizing Psynergy with the elements of Jupiter, Mars Venus and Mercury to perform various actions was very creative and added to the overall replay value of Golden Sun.

Kingdom Hearts: Chain of Memories was also very innovative and creative due to card based battles which was something that was not seen in too many RPG titles back in the early 00’s. The game also told a great story and had various modes of gameplay included Reverse/Birth mode after completing Sora’s story mode. In terms of sales Chain of Memories has managed to reach over one million units worldwide similar to that of Golden Sun. But in terms of popularity Kingdom Hearts: Chain of Memories would probably have the slight edge over Golden Sun overall.
