As many people may have heard it’s been recently rumored that Metroid Prime 4 which is set to be released sometime this year may include online gameplay. The information regarding possible inclusion of online gameplay for Metroid Prime 4 became a rumor after information regarding the development of the game was discovered on the LinkedIn page of someone who was involved in the creation of the game.

The idea of having online multiplayer gameplay on Metroid Prime 4 is something that sounds very interesting especially for the Nintendo Switch. If Nintendo can make a game like Splatoon 2 work with inclusion of online multiplayer gameplay then certainly having a similar feature in Metroid Prime 4 should not be as much of a challenge if indeed the rumor is true.
