When it comes down to 3D fighting games there were countless titles that the world got to see numerous game consoles such as the PS1, N64 along with the Sega Dreamcast. Within the fighting genre of gaming the world got to witness two big 3D titles around the late 90’s known as Mortal Kombat 4 and Soul Calibur. In terms of graphics some might argue that Soul Calibur had more superior graphics on the Sega Dreamcast than Mortal Kombat 4 did on the PS1 or the N64.

Despite, the fact that Soul Calibur looked better on the Sega Dreamcast some would argue that Mortal Kombat 4 has the slight edge in terms of popularity. While Soul Calibur was a very interesting game a 3D Mortal Kombat game was something that many people want to see since the series first began in 1992. Also, we managed to get a new story with different bosses and new characters in Mortal Kombat 4.
