Xeodrifter is an upcoming platform game that is expected to be released on February 15th for the Nintendo Switch. This game has a basic plot involving uncovering secrets and unlocking hidden powers as the main character journeys through alien landscapes. A couple of years ago Xeodrifter was released for various game consoles including the PS4, Nintendo 3DS, PlayStation Vita and the Wii-U.

If feels like Xeodrifter would be great to have on the Nintendo Series considering the fact games such as this are often overshadowed by 3D RPG and shooter titles on consoles like the PS4. Also, the graphics of Xeodrifter looks like something you would see on the 8 bit NES back in the late 80’s or early 90’s. It seems like retro 2D platform titles are starting to return in popularity. For Switch owners who are fans of 2D platform video games Xeodrifter is definitely a game worth checkers no out for the hybrid console.
