As many of us know Super Mario Odessey was said to be one of the fastest selling games of 2017 after it was released in late October of that year. Since it’s release Super Mario Odessey had reportedly sold over 5 million units worldwide for the Nintendo Switch which is a number that exceeded the expectations of many people. If Super Mario Odessey can sell over 5 million units worldwide within 2 months its very possible that the game can hit 20 million before 2019.

As of right now Super Mario Odessey does not have much of a rival on the Nintendo Switch in regards to the action adventure/platform genre. One of the many reasons why Super Mario Odyssey has been so successful is due to how popular the Nintendo Switch was on a mainstream level throughout 2017. The way thing look right now Super Mario Odessey will probably be the best selling game of the Nintendo Switch in general.
