As cool as LandStalker was for the Sega Genesis back in the early 90’s it a mystery to some people on why this game was never re-released for the Game Boy Advance during the early 00’s. When it came down to gameplay this action adventure title looked and felt like you were playing a Zelda game. The isometric gameplay for LandStalker was very unique and had the potential of becoming a video game series had it been more popular on the Sega Genesis. It’s quite possible that Climax Entertainment had no interest in having LandStalker re-released for the Game Boy Advance during the early 00’s because it could have been easily overshadowed by many other big titles that were popular on the SNES that were re-released for the handheld game console.
But if Climax Entertainment had no interest of having LandStalker re-released for Game Boy Advance another game similar to it would have been great to see back in the early 00’s. When it came down to isometric 2D action adventure titles we didn’t get to see too many titles like LandStalker back in the 90’s and having a game like it during the early 00’s could have gained the interest of many people who were into that genre of gaming during the time.
