When it comes down to RPG titles of 2016-2017 two of the most popular games of the year included both Final Fantasy XV and Persona 5 which was first released in Japan before it was available everywhere else around the world in the Spring of 2017.   Ever since both games were released there has been a lot of talk on which RPG title is better.  While Final Fantasy XV utilizes the Luminous Studio game engine Atlus used its own custom game engine for Persona 5.  In terms of graphics there might be some who argue in favor of Final Fantasy XV but the artwork for Persona 5 is so unique which make the game stands out from many other RPG titles.  Besides the gaming world was waiting for the release of Persona 5 since its predecessor Persona 4 was released for PS3 and other game systems back in 2008.

Ever since the release of Final Fantasy XIV back in 2010 there were many people who were just anxious to see what Final Fantasy XV was going to look like and whether or not it would be able to exceed their expectations.  Persona 4 on the other hand was arguably one of the best RPG titles of the late 00’s; there were probably more people who were looking forward to Persona 5 than they were for Final Fantasy XV.  Unless one was a die hard fan of the Final Fantasy series throughout 00’s and early 10’s then Final Fantasy XV was a game that was worth checking out.  If you were looking for an RPG with mesmerizing visuals that included action based combat Final Fantasy XV was the game to get.  But when it came down to turn based combat and anime styled graphics Persona 5 was the game worth having especially if one have owned or played Persona 4 in the past.
