Without a doubt Injustice 2 is probably the most popular fighting game of 2017.  Since its release for the PlayStation 4 and the Xbox One back in May 2017 we have seen Mortal Kombat characters appear in Injustice 2 as DLC such as Raiden and Sub-Zero who are both big names in the Mortal Kombat series.  If you currently own Injustice 2 and are also a big fan of the Mortal Kombat series then having more characters from MK such as Kitana, Jade, Milenna, Shang Tsung, Johnny Cage, Sonya and others would be pretty cool.  However, there are those who will argue that having too many Mortal Kombat characters in Injustice 2 could possibly take some of the shine off the original roster of fighters who feature in this game.

As of right now the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles are the latest attraction as far as DLC in Injustice 2 is concerned along with upcoming appearance of Enchantress in the game. The inclusion of more DLC and new characters in games is something that fans of the fighting genre seem to like especially if it features names that many people are familiar with.    While the inclusion of more Mortal Kombat characters on the Injustice 2 roster may not be necessary it would definitely make Injustice 2 a more exciting than it already is.
