Street Fighter v Tekken‘As popular as Street Fighter X Tekken was back in the early 10’s there would be some people who would probably agree with the fact that Street Fighter X Tekken may not have worked for the Nintendo Wii.  When it comes down to crossover fighting titles the Nintendo Wii already had Tatsunoko vs Capcom which was released back in 2008.  However, when it  comes down to popularity in relation to video games first and third person shooter video games seemed like they were more popular in the late 00’s and the early 10’s especially for the Xbox 360 and the PlayStation 3. There are some who would argue that if Street Fighter X Tekken was a Wii exclusive the game may have sold over one million units worldwide back in 2012.

However, when it comes down to graphics and quality having a Wii port of Street Fighter X Tekken may not have been quite as good as the PS3 or the Xbox 360.  But when it came down to fighting games Street Fighter X Tekken was definitely a game that the Wii needed more than the PS3 or the Xbox 360 back in the early 10’s.  But when in regards to popularity the Nintendo Wii was not quite on the same level as the PS3.  Since Nintendo started featuring more family friendly titles on the Wii there is a decent chance that Street Fighter X Tekken may not have done as well on the Wii console as it did on the PS3 or the Xbox 360 as far as sales are concerned.
