Splaton 2 is without a doubt one of the hottest games on the Nintendo Switch right now.  Ever since it release back in July 2017 Splatoon 2 has exceeded the expectations of many people as far as sales are concerned.  In the past couple of months Splatoon 2 has reportedly sold over 3 million units worldwide and is considered to be one of the best third person shooter titles that has been on any Nintendo based console.  As this rate Splatton is definitely going to surpass its predecessor which was released for the Wii U back in May 2015 in terms sales.

Ever since the original Splatoon game was released for the Wii-U in 2015 the game has managed to  sell over 4 million units worldwide. It would not be surprising if Splatoon 2 manages to sell over 5 million units worldwide before the end of 2018.  The fact that Splatoon 2 is a Nintendo Switch exclusive is one of the things that makes the game worth having which can also be said for Splatoon on for the Wii-U.  If there is ever a Splatoon 3 we may not see it until Nintendo released another game console altogether.
