When it comes down to the Wario series there are many people believe that a majority of the games are actually fun.  However, when it comes down to the platform genre of gaming for any Nintendo based consoles Super Mario titles are generally considered to be the best since they tend to sell more. 

When it comes down to home based consoles Wario games are generally overshadowed.  In Spring 2013 a Wii title called Game & Wario had reportedly sold close to a quarter million units worldwide.  But considering the fact that the Wii-U did not sell as much as the original Wii console or the Nintendo Switch that should come as not surprise.  Even though, the Wario series originally became popular on Game Boy there have been some popular titles on home based Nintendo consoles.   Back in 2008, Wario Land: Shake It had managed to sell over one million units worldwide on the Nintendo Wii.  The 2D graphics of Wario Land: Shake It was very appealing and the story itself really got players into the game.  If there is ever a Wario game for the Nintendo Switch it should definitely be like Wario Land: Shake It.
