There is no doubt that the Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time is considered to be one of the best selling titles of all time in the Zelda series.  When the game was first released for the Nintendo 64 back in 1998 many people were impressed by the gameplay, storyline along with the visual design of the game itself.  Even though, we did get a 3DS version of Ocarina of Time back in 2011 many people have dying to see an actual HD remake of the game similar to what Twilight Princess received for the Wii U in 2016.  Not only does Ocarina of Time have a high replay value but since its released for the N64 during the late 90’s it had managed to sell over 7.6 million units worldwide while the 3DS version of the game managed to sell close to 5 million.  If Nintendo were to develop an HD remake of Ocarina of Time for the Switch console it could be one of the main attractions they have along with titles such as The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild and Mario Kart 8 Deluxe.

While the idea of a high definition remake of Ocarina of Time sounds great in theory some people may question how it would work out in practice.  In terms of releasing an actual game for Ocarina of Time some question whether it should be included on the Virtual Console or should it be an actual cartridge.  Also, if Nintendo  does decide to make an HD remake of Ocarina of Time what should it be priced at?   The Legend of Zelda: Twilight Princess would probably average around $49.99 at stores such as Gamestop which may seem like a reasonable price for Ocarina of Time if we ever received an HD remake.
