Rumors have been going around for a while now about whether or not  Atari was going to make another console to enter the gaming market.  But we have now discovered the rumors about the Ataribox are starting to become closer to being true opposed to false.  While it’s great to see Atari making game consoles again many people are starting to wonder whether or not the company will pose as a threat to the likes of Sony, Microsoft or even Nintendo in the modern day console war.

Atari was a huge deal back in the 70’s and 80’s and even though it’s debatable on whether or not it was a threat to the Nintendo Entertainment System back in the 80’s the company still produced game consoles that were exciting to play during the time.  If the Ataribox is real it will be interesting to see how well it will compete with consoles such as the PlayStation Neo, Xbox One X and the Nintendo Switch.
