There was no doubt that the first two Marvel: Ultimate Alliance titles provided a highly enjoyable gaming experience when they were first released.  The co-op mode in both Marvel: Ultimate Alliance games were fantastic along with the fact that players had the option of choosing from some of the most popular characters in the Marvel universe.  There were many cool characters from the series such as Spider-Man, Wolverine, Storm, Cyclops, Captain America and others.  Not only was the storyline for the first two games interesting but the cinematic cutscenes in each were very realistic and lifelike.

Considering the fact that the latest Marvel: Ultimate Alliance game was released back in 2009 time can only tell when we will see a potential sequel.  Not only was Marvel: Ultimate Alliance series among the coolest action-adventure games of the 00’s but the replay value of both games were high as well.  In terms of which title was better some would probably argue in favor of the original Marvel: Ultimate Alliance game over the second.  The original Marvel: Ultimate Alliance game had sold more copies worldwide then its successor following its release in 2006.  Surprisingly, both games sold more copies worldwide on the Xbox 360 then the PlayStation 3.

As many people know Vicarious Visions mainly worked on the home console versions of Marvel Ultimate Alliance 2. It should also be noted that Raven Software to develop the first Marvel Ultimate Alliance game which was released during the mid 00’s.  If there is ever a sequel the question would which video game company should work on developing a title the succeeds Marvel Ultimate Alliance 2?  Another big question would be which characters should be added along with will remain if there is a potential Marvel Ultimate Alliance 3.  Having a brand new Ultimate Alliance game for the PlayStation 4 and Xbox One would be something that many Marvel fans would definitely look forward too.
