Project Mugen is an upcoming JRPG game that was announced back in Summer 2023. Project Mugen will be developed by Naked Rain and published by NetEase Games and will be appearing on multiple game systems in the future. Project Mugen is a pretty unique role-playing games that has the potential to win over ton of fans in countries like Japan and America. The aesthetics for Project Mugen looks amazing because it resembles that of Zenless Zone Zero and Jet Set Radio. It should also be noted that the gameplay in relation to traveling across urban landscapes feels like Marvel’s Spider-Man which is also a pretty nice touch. Project Mugen has impressive cel-shaded graphics and looks like an actual anime which is going to be one of the few things that adds to its overall appeal. Project Mugen also has an interesting party of characters that players can start the game off with including Taffy, Dlia, Alan, Mechanika and Bansy. The story of the Project Mugen focuses on the main characters trying to stop a malevolent force that threatens humanity known as “Chaos”. Based on what was presented in the gameplay trailer Project Mugen will feature both brawling and third-person shooter gameplay. As it currently stands Project Mugen does not have an official release date. While there has been no signs of Project Mugen being released in 2024 many are speculating that the game might possibly come out next year. Project Mugen will be available for PS5, PS4, PC and mobile devices and is supposed to be a free-to-play game.
