It seems like 2024 is going to be a somewhat promising year in relation to high profile video game releases. Along with the likes of Final Fantasy VII: Rebirth, Tekken 8 and Suicide Squad: Kill The Justice League one of the few titles that people are looking forward to seeing is Sega’s Like a Dragon: Infinite Wealth. Sega’s upcoming high profile RPG is set to be released on January 26th and will appear on multiple game systems including the PlayStation 5, PS4, Xbox One along with the Xbox Series X.  Like a Dragon: Infinite Wealth is a game that is on many people radar because its the sequel to the critically acclaimed Yakuza: Like a Dragon title that came out back in 2020. Yakuza: Like a Dragon actually did better many expected in terms of commercial success by reach around 1.8 million copies in worldwide sales. Like a Dragon: Infinite Wealth is going to be developed by Ryu Ga Gotoku Studio the same entity that worked the game’s prequel from 2020. The Yakuza series is one of Sega’s most popular franchises aside from Sonic the Hedgehog and its one that has been slowly growing in popularity within the past decade or so. Like a Dragon: Infinite Wealth has almost everything one can ask for in a RPG title including a compelling storyline, turn-based combat system, various mini games along with the returns of both Ichiban Kasuga and Kazuma Kiryu as the protagonists. The setting taking place in modern day Hawaii is something that sounds interesting to say the least and the open world environment looks very impressive. The map for Like a Dragon: Infinite Wealth is reportedly three times bigger than Yakuza: Like a Dragon and there will be various activities that players can engage in throughout the game.
