
Its been almost a decade since Nintendo has released a high profile Donkey Kong game. The last major Donkey Kong game that we got to see came out back in 2014 for the Wii-U. Donkey Kong Country: Tropical Freeze was developed by Retro Studios and it ended being arguably the best installment within its series during the 2010’s decade. It seems like the Donkey Kong series has been on a hiatus for about nine years now and that Nintendo had forgotten about it altogether. But it now seems like Nintendo is ready to do something big with Donkey Kong sometime in the future since a reputable leaker has been making headlines across the web about potential new game involving the legendary gorilla in the future. There are no details at the moment concerning the potential new Donkey Kong game but more information is expected to be revealed at Nintendo upcoming direct presentation this month. Donkey Kong’s video games normally performs well in terms sales and the Country series is one that hardcore fans have loved since the SNES era of the 1990’s. While some people believe that the upcoming Donkey Kong game is a platformer there are certain websites that suggest that we will be getting a Mario vs DK title. It been a very long time since we had a Mario vs Donkey Kong game something that was big back in the 80’s.
