It looks like we are going to get another Persona 5 spin-off for multiple game systems before the end of 2023. This upcoming game will be entitled Persona 5 Tactica and will feature popular characters from the original 2016 but with a brand new story. In Persona 5 Tactica Joker finds himself in a new unknown world and has to align himself with Erina to battle against oppressive armies that have taken control. Similar to the original P5 game Persona 5 Tactica is an RPG where players can build their own party and utilize various strategies to destroy various enemies. Players will be able to engage in melee combat and will also have the ability to use personas and projectiles to attack their enemies. If players knocks an enemy down they can attack them twice in one turn which is nice gameplay feature. Players can also have their party attack all at once with another gameplay feature called “Triple Threat”. Based on how things look it seems like players can only have a party of three characters which is something that has become more common in turn-based RPG’s in this day and age. The visuals for Persona 5 Tactica looks great and the game overall looks fun. However, there are many people who are still bummed that Atlus did not announce Persona 6 or even a Persona 5: Arena game. Persona 5 Tactica is set to be released on November 17th during the holiday season and will be available on the PS5, PS4, Xbox Series X, Xbox One Nintendo Switch and Steam.
