Is hard to believe that its been at least twelve years since Spider-Man Shattered Dimensions was released for the PlayStation 3, Xbox 360 and PC. Spider-Man Shattered Dimensions is probably one of the most underrated Marvel related superhero games of all-time. The storyline for Spider-Man Shattered Dimensions was very intriguing and it involved multiple realities within the Marvel universe to be altered after the “Tablet of Order and Chaos” was shattered. This game also allowed players to control different versions of the famous web-crawling superhero including the Amazing Spider-Man, Spider-Man Noir, Ultimate Spider-Man and Spider-Man 2099. Spider-Man Shattered Dimensions also featured Madam Web as a key part of the game’s storyline. The creativity of Spider-Man Shattered Dimension what one of the strong points about the game itself as we got to see futuristic alternate versions of villains such as: Doctor Octopus and Hobgoblin. While the Spider-Man Shattered Dimensions was a pretty good game for its time some argue that it would have been better off as a movie. Spider-Man Shattered Dimensions was not a massive commercial success like the Marvel’s Spider-Man PS4 game or Miles Morales from 2020. While a remake of Spider-Man Shattered Dimension for the PS5 is something that sounds cool on paper its unlikely that it would bring in a ton of revenue for Activision who was the publisher of the game during its release back in 2010. Even though, Spider-Man is more popular now than he was back in the early 2010’s remakes of titles like Shattered Dimension does not necessarily mean that it would be massive attraction in the 2020’s decade.
