Marvel’s Spider-Man 2- Gameplay Reveal

The gameplay reveal for Marvel’s Spider-Man 2 was one of the most talked about subjects to come out of the PlayStation Showcase of 2023. There were many people who were shocked to learn that Kraven The Hunter is going to be featured as the main villain for the Marvel’s Spider-Man 2 game for the PlayStation 5. Kraven the Hunter is a villain from the Marvel universe who first appeared in comics back in the mid 1960’s. When it comes down to anything media related whether it be film or television Kraven the Hunter has not been quite as popular as other villains within the Spider-Man franchise such as: The Green Goblin, The Kingpin, Doctor Octopus, Venom, Carnage and others. In fact, the very first trailer of Marvel’s Spider-Man 2 has initially teased Venom possibly being the main villain of the game which is why Kraven being included comes as somewhat of a surprise. The gameplay trailer for Marvel’s Spider-Man 2 was absolutely breathtaking and featured Miles Morales and Peter Parker as playable characters. One of the cool things that we learned about this upcoming game is that players will have access to Peter Parker’s black symbiote spider suit which is considered to be iconic within the Spider-Man series. The open world environment in New York City allows players to travel land, air and even the sea as they combat various foes and even use stealth tactics to complete certain missions. Marvel’s Spider-Man 2 feels like a legitimate action-adventure from the cutscenes and dialogue all the way down to the music score. Marvel’s Spider-Man 2 also looks like its easy to learn even though the game itself might end up being way more challenging than it looks. As it currently stands Marvel’s Spider-Man 2 is still set to be released sometime later in 2023 on date that has yet to be revealed by Sony Interactive Entertainment. It should also be noted that its still unclear on exactly what the plot is be we to know that The Lizard will be a huge part of the story for Marvel’s Spider-Man 2 for the PlayStation 5.
