As it currently stands the full roster of characters set to appear in Tekken 8 has not yet been revealed by Bandi Namco as of yet. We do know that characters like Jin Kazama, Kazuya Mishima, Nina Williams and Jun Kazama will appear in Tekken 8. If either Jin or Kazuya dies sometime during Tekken 8 where would the story go? Both Jin and Kazuya have been apart of the Tekken series since the 90’s and killing either one of them of would deal a major blow towards fans being invested in a possible Tekken 9. While Lars Alexandersson is considered to be the illegitimate son of Heihachi Mishima there is definitely as story that could be told in relation to him wanting to kill Kazuya. Without Mishima family storyline the Tekken series could easily become stale causing hardcore fans and casuals to lose interest altogether. There many people who were under the believe that Tekken 7 was going to be the final entry within its series. But there was no way that Bandi Namco could end Tekken 7 on a cliffhanger without resolving the conflict between Jin Kazama and Kazuya Mishima. Tekken 8 has a final encounter feel to it leading to the speculation that it could possibly be the last entry within the series.
