It seems 2023 has been a great year so far in relation to news relating to video games especially considering how popular the Super Mario Bros Movie has been since its release back in April. During its first week the Super Mario Bros movie had managed to earn approximately $377 million within it first week in relation to box office sales. The overall quality of the Super Mario Bros Movie had ended up exceeding the expectations of many critics who had more positive than negative things to say about the film. The voice acting along with the CGI animation in the Super Mario Bros Movie were highly praised and some people feel that the film was actually better than the Sonic the HedgeHog 2 movie which came out back 2022. Since its release last year the Sonic the Hedgehog movie had managed to earn over $405 million in relation to box office revenue and was seen as possibly the best video game film of 2022. However, it has been recently reported that the Super Mario Bros Movie has officially earned $1 billion in box office revenue globally making it the highest grossing video game films of all-time. There are many people who believe that the Super Mario Bros film will most likely go down as one of the greatest video game films of the 2020’s even though were are not even halfway through the decade yet. There is no question whatsoever that the Super Mario Bros movie from this year is going to get a sequel sometime in distant future. However, it has not even been a full two months since the film was released which raises the question on how much the Super Mario Bros film will earn in box office revenue before the end of 2023.
