The 2010’s was an awesome time to be a gamer especially considering how much the landscape of gaming had evolved throughout the past decade or so. While video games became more popular during the 2010’s television in America was also great during the early 10’s especially with shows like Adventure Time. When it came down to high profile kids shows on Cartoon Network the Adventure Time series was arguably one of the best shows on that channel during the 2010’s decade. The Adventure Time animated series had lasted for ten seasons between 2010-2018 and the overall popularity of the show eventually lead let to the creation of several video games; with one of them being Adventure Time: Explore the Dungeon Because I Don’t Know from 2013. The Adventure Time game from 2013 was developed by WayForward Technologies and published by D3 Publisher Inc. Adventure Time: Explore the Dungeon Because I Don’t Know was released for multiple game systems including PlayStation 3, Xbox 360 and Wii-U and was considered to be an action-adventure dungeon crawler game. The was pretty basic and revolved around Princess Bubblegum sending players to explore a secret Royal Dungeon below the Land of Ooo where prisoners are escaping. While the story for this game could have been better the gameplay and overall visual presentation for the 2013 Adventure Time looked amazing. The voice over acting in Adventure Time: Explore the Dungeon Because I Don’t Know! was also a nice touch to the game along with the fact that players had to go through 100 different levels to get to the end. Players could choose from multiple characters from the Adventure Time series including Finn, Jake, Marceline, Ice King, Fame Princess, Lumpy Space Princess and Cinnamon Bun. Each character had their own unique special attacks and abilities which was cool but after while the overall gameplay feels repetitive especially considering how many levels are included within the game.
