Sea of Stars coming to Xbox Series X

This year is shaping up to be a huge year in relation to high profile video game releases in general. When it comes down to upcoming indie video games one of the few titles that everyone is talking about is a 2D pixel art RPG called Sea of Stars. For those who do not know Sea of Stars was initially announced back in 2020 and since then it has been confirmed that it will appear on just about every game console out there. While we already knew that Sea of Stars was going to appear on the PlayStation 4 and Xbox One consoles we haver recently learned a few days ago that it will be appearing on current generation game systems like the Xbox Series X. Generally, speaking games like Sea of Stars seem better off on the Nintendo Switch or Steam mainly because appeal more towards a family-friendly audience. It seems like games that appear on PlayStation or Xbox consoles target teenagers an young adults more which raises the question on how popular Sea of Stars will end up becoming on the XBX. Seeing the Sea of Stars is a retro based RPG many old school gamers who grew up during the 16-bit era of the 90’s will definitely love this title. Unlike, most RPG’s that you see today Sea of Stars will have turn-based combat and up to six playable characters which is uncommon in standard role-playing games right now. Sea of Stars will be developed and published by Sabotage Studios and will be released worldwide in late August 2023. Sea of Stars is supposed to be the prequel to The Messenger game from 2018 and it has then potential to be the best indie video games of 2023.
