The Fallout series has been around for at least 25 years now and has managed to become one of the most successful video game franchises of all-time since 1997. In terms of popularity Fallout 3 from 2008 was arguably one of the best installments within the entires series next to Fallout: New Vegas from 2010. The reason why Fallout 3 was such as big deal following its 2008 release was because it was the first 3D installment within its series with the first two games being 2D isometric titles. Fallout 3 was a massive commercial success during the late 00’s and managed to reach over 12 million copies in relation to sales across multiple platforms. Fallout 3 was an action role playing game with an interesting story that sometimes felt like a survival-horror title when players had to defend themselves against creatures known as “Raiders” while being in a capital wasteland. Along with players trying to survive in a post-apocalyptic environment during the later part of the 23rd century Fallout 3 was full of unexpected twists and turns as it related to story and provided players with seeming countless hours of gameplay including the side quests. Fallout 3 was arguably the best game of 2008 and many people believe that Bethesda should remake the game for the PlayStation 5. While Xbox 360 games can be played on Xbox Series X its a known fact the PlayStation 5 is not backwards compatible with PS3 games. A remastered version of Fallout 3 would be a great addition to the PlayStation 5 since its considered an RPG classic.
