It looks like 2023 is going to be an exciting year as it relates to the gaming world with numerous high profile releases appearing on the PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X and Nintendo Switch. One of the few games has recently been announced that everyone is talking about right now is WWE 2K23 which is set to appear on March 17th this year. WWE 2K23 will be produced by 2K Sports and will see the return of MyRise Career and General Manager mode. WWE 2K23 will also see the return of 2K Showcase Mode which will focus on WWE Superstar John Cena and his legendary 20 year career. People will be able to relive some of John Cena’s greatest moments during the Ruthless Aggression and PG Eras including his first title win at WrestleMania 21 back in 2005. The trailer for WWE 2K23 showed gameplay footage of John Cena’s match against The Rock back at WrestleMania 28 in 2012 which gave fans a strong feeling of nostalgia. WWE 2K23 is likely to include a variety of classic venues from 2000’s and 2010’s where John Cena had his crowning moments throughout his career. WWE 2K23 will also have an updated roster which was necessary due to roster changes that occurred within World Wrestling Entertainment within the past year. WWE 2K23 will obviously see the return of numerous match types from previous games including Hell in the Cell, Ladder Match, Last Man Standing and more. WWE 2K23 will also be the first pro wrestling game to feature the legendary War Games match which is something everyone is looking forward to. As it currently stands customers can pre-order WWE 2K23 right now before it hits the stores in March 2023. Players can gain early access to WWE 2K23 on March 14th before its official release on March 17th.
