There are many people who are currently looking forward to what 2023 has to offer as it relates to gaming. While 2022 can be viewed as somewhat of a lackluster year for gaming overall we did get to see couple of great games like Elden Ring, Dying Light 2: Stay Human and God of War Ragnarok become very popular following their respective releases. God of War: Ragnarok was the highly anticipated sequel to the God of War title from ’18 and was arguably the best action-adventure title of 2022. Almost everything about God of War: Ragnarok was considered to be mind blowing including the story, character development, graphics, combat system along with its open-world environment. God of War: Ragnarok is a game that could be completed within 30 hours and has two endings with one of them being secret. As it currently stands God of War: Ragnarok is the one of the fastest selling PlayStation titles in history seeing that it managed to reach at least 5.1 million copies in worldwide sales since its release back in November 2022. The PS4 God of War game from ’18 has managed to reach over 19 million copies in sales since its release and it looks like Ragnarok has the potential to surpass its predecessor within the next two years or so. The God of War series is one of the best things that Sony has going for them right now it seems like it will remain that way throughout the 2020’s decade.
