Grim Guardian Demon Purge set for release on 02.23.23

There are numerous upcoming titles that the world is waiting to see as it relates to 2023. While titles such as Final Fantasy XVI, Street Fighter 6 along with The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom are among the top ten upcoming games of ’23; one of the few titles that looks promising next year is an indie game known as Grim Guardians: Demon Purge. Grim Guardians: Demon Purge is a game that will be developed by Inti Creates and is a 2D action game with visuals that looks similar to old titles released for the Game Boy Advance back in the early 2000’s. Grim Guardians: Demon Purge has a very simple plot that revolves two sisters who are demon hunters named Shinobu Kamizono and Maya Kamizono. In Grim Guardians: Demon Purge both sisters must discover the mystery behind the presence of a demonic castle after completing a mission and returning to their school. Shinobu utilizes guns for long distance attacks while Maya is more of a close ranged brawler. One of the coolest things about Grim Guardians: Demon Purge is that it enables shared and split screened co-op 2 player gameplay something that you hardly ever saw back in the 90’s or early 00’s as it related to 2D action/platform games. Grim Guardians: Demon Purge is currently set to be released for multiple game systems including the PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, Xbox One, Xbox Series X, Nintendo Switch and Steam. Grim Guardians is most likely going to be one of the more popular games that we are going to end up seeing next year and its interesting to see how well the game performs across each platform.
