When it comes down underrated action-adventure titles from the early 10”s one of the few games that people remember from the PS3/Xbox 360 era is Dante’s Inferno. For those who do not know Dante’s Inferno was developed by Visceral Games and published by Electronic Arts and was released back in 2010. The plot of Datne’s Inferno revolved around the main protagonist Dante traveling through the Nine Circles of Hell including limbo, lust, gluttony, greed, anger, heresy, violence, fraud and treachery to search for his girlfriend Beatrice. Dante’s Inferno is a dark gory “M” rated game that resembled the likes of God of War or Dark Souls filled with captivating cutscenes and impressive voice over acting. Dante’s Inferno had nine different levels and the game was considerably short in length since players can complete the story in less than a day. Dante’s Inferno was an excellent depiction of the dark invisible spiritual forces that we battle in real life. While the game was easy to learn Dante’s Inferno was considered to be challenging by a handful of people and the combat system was one of the best features it had. Players were about to collect souls in exchange for various abilities while being able to develop their powers utilizing an in-game skill tree. Dante’s Inferno was a surprisingly good game that never received a current generation remake for consoles
