Should Bioshock: Infinite be remastered for PS5 & Xbox Series X?

When it comes down to high profile first-person shooter video games from the early 2010’s one of the few titles that instantly comes to mind is BioShock: Infinite from 2013. As many people know BioShock: Infinite was released for the PlayStation 3, Xbox 360 and PC roughly around a decade ago and is considered to be one of the best installments within its own franchise. This science-fiction first person shooter game was praised by many people for its storytelling along with its overall presentation. While BioShock: Infinite was criticized for the short length of its campaign there were many people who loved the Burial at Sea expansion pack which added to the overall replay value of the game. Ever since BioShock: Infinite was released back in ’13 we got to see all three major installments remastered and re-released for the PlayStation 4 and Xbox One. Even though the PlayStation 5 and the Xbox Series X are both backwards compatible the idea of seeing a 4KHD high definition BioShock: Infinite game running at 1080p on a current generation game system would be awesome. As it currently stands we are still waiting for the official announcement of another BioShock title from 2K Games. Even though, the BioShock series has seemingly been on a hiatus for roughly a decade many believe that the series is not officially dead just yet. BioShock: Infinite is way too iconic not to have an official sequel but in the meantime many people would not mind seeing a remastered versions of the three main titles from ’07-’13 on current generation game systems.
