It seems like 2022 has been a disappointing year in general for the world of gaming due to controversial news regarding Sony & Microsoft along with disastrous launches of games like Babylon’s Fall and Overwatch. Not to mention to infamous Grand Theft Auto VI leak which RockStar Games quickly had removed after it went viral online. Despite, 2022 not being a great for high profile console games we recently got to see the release of Marvel Snap which is pretty much a strategic mobile card game that has nothing but positive reviews. Marvel Snap was developed by Nuverse and Second Dinner Studios and is one of the few high profile Marvel games of ’22. The next big Marvel title Midnight Suns is expected to appear in early December 2022 weeks before Christmas. To be fair 2022 has not been a strong year for Marvel in relation to video games and the main game from the series that people are looking forward to seeing is the upcoming Spider-Man 2 game which will be released in 2023. However, Marvel Snap is fun fast-paced and exciting and its free to play feature is something that is definitely appealing right now considering the fact developers for console games are constantly trying to rip customers off in some way through micro-transactions. Marvel Snap is most likely going to be one of the more popular mobile card games of the holiday season going into the first half of 2023.
