There were several big announcements as it related to the Nintendo’s most recent Direct presentation that took place on September 13th. One of the biggest most interesting announcements that we got involved the confirmation of Octopath Traveler II which is set to appear on multiple game systems next year. Octopath Traveler II will be released for multiple game systems including the Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, and PC. For some reason Octopath Traveler will not be appearing on the Xbox One or the Xbox Series X which probably something that does not come as a surprise to many people. Octopath Traveler II the sequel to the original game that came out for the Nintendo Switch during Summer 2018. Since the release of the original Octopath Traveler game it has managed to reach at least 3 million copies in sales. In fact, the original Octopath Traveler game is one of the most successful third-party RPG’s to have appeared on the Nintendo Switch. Based on what we know the setting of Octopath Traveler II is going to take place in continent known as Solistia. Octopath Traveler II will provide players with at least eight playable characters each with their own unique backstory. Along with introduction of brand new characters Octopath Traveler II will also see the return of 2D-HD graphics along with the Break and Boost battle systems during combat. Octopath Traveler II is currently set to be released on February 24th next year and is currently one of the most highly anticipated RPG’s of ’23 next to Final fantasy XVI.
