Nier Automata finally comes to the Nintendo Switch!!!

In terms of good news there were a lot of that came out during Nintendo’s Direct Mini broadcast including the announcement of NieR: Automata being ported for the Switch console. For those who do not know NieR: Automata was considered to be one of the more popular RPG’s to have emerged from ’17 for the PlayStation 4, Xbox One and Microsoft Windows. The original version of the game managed to reach at least 6.5 million copies in sales across multiple platforms and was one of Square Enix’s non Final Fantasy games of the past six years. NieR: Automata was developed by PlatinumGames and an open-world hack n slash action role playing video game with a female protagonist named 2B. NieR Automata actually has three main protagonists that players are able to control within the game. The plot for the game focuses androids 2B, 9S and A2 who are in a post-apocalyptic world trying to fight off powerful machines in a fictional dystopia. The theme of NieR Automata focuses on the conflict between androids and machines and allows players to engage in three playthroughs with each protagonist. The Switch version of NieR Automata is going to be known as the “The End of YoRHa Edition” which is set to be released on October 6th. Its tough to predict how well NieR Automata will do commercially for the Switch console considering the fact that its a third-party game; but having access to a portable version of critically acclaimed RPG definitely sounds like an offer that is hard to pass up.
