Sonic Origins confirmed for release in Summer 2022!!!

For those who were huge fans of Sonic the Hedgehog during the Sega Genesis era of the early 90’s you will be happy to know that the first four installments within the series will be re-released for multiple game systems this upcoming summer. The list of games including in Sonic Origins includes: Sonic the Hedgehog, Sonic the Hedgehog 2, Sonic CD along with both parts of Sonic the Hedgehog 3 from ’91-’94. Sonic Origins is expected to appear digitally for the PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, Xbox Series X, Xbox One, Nintendo Switch and Steam on June 23th, 2022. At the moment its unclear what the price for Sonic Origins is going to be and a physical release for this game has yet to be confirmed. Along with classic four Sonic titles Origins will feature brand new animated content along with bonus hard missions, additional music tracks, letterbox backgrounds and more. The remastered versions of these four classic games are likely to be huge attractions to those who were and are still fans of the 2D side scrolling platform genre. Seeing how successful the Sonic the Hedgehog 2 movie has been earning over $231 million in box office revenue following its recent release; there is no question that ’22 has been a great year for the Sonic the Hedgehog franchise
