As far as upcoming games in relation to Spring 2019 is concerned one of the few titles that everyone is talking about right now regarding the Nintendo Switch is Assassin’s Creed III: Remastered which is set to be released on May 21st. For those who do not know Assassin’s Creed III was originally released back in 2012 for the PlayStation 3, Xbox 360 along with the Nintendo Wii. Since its release roughly over five years ago Assassin’sCreed III managed to reach over 12 million units worldwide in sales and was arguably the best action-adventure, stealth game of 2012. While Assassin’s Creed III is set to appear on the Switch console in May the PlayStation 4 and the Xbox One port will be available this month on March 29th.

As it currently stands its hard to see the Switch version of Assassin’s Creed III Remastered having more successful than the PS4 or the Xbox One port of the game in the future. Despite, the Nintendo Switch being the most popular game console of 2018 its no secret that action-adventure and stealth games tend to be bigger attractions on the PlayStation and the Xbox consoles especially when it pertains to the Assassin’s Creed series in general. Also, third party video games tend to get overshadowed by first party Mario titles on Nintendo consoles in general. However, it would still be interesting to see how successful Assassin’s Creed III becomes on the Nintendo Switch this Spring following its release on May 21st.
