When it comes down to popular survival shooter titles within the gaming just about everyone including casual gamers know about Fortnite. Ever since its release back in July 2017 Fortnite managed to become one of the most popular shooter titles of the 10’s decade in general. There are multiplayer game modes such as “Save the World”along with the online “Battle Royale” which adds to the overall replay value of Fortnite making it more appealing than a majority of shooter titles you would see today. Since its release last year Epic Games has earned at least $318 million in revenue surpassing popular games such as League of Legends and Pokémon Go in earnings.

Seeing how popular Fortnite is for multiple systems including the PlayStation 4, Xbox One and the Nintendo Switch some are speculating whether or not the game will earn $500 million in revenue before the end of 2019. It very possible that Fortnite will earn at least $500 million in revenue before 2020 especially considering the fact that the game has only been around for only two years. Also, features such as cross-platform gameplay between consoles such as the Xbox One and the Nintendo Switch Fornite seems like a game that will remain very popular within the gaming world for another two or three years.
