One of the many upcoming games for this year that everyone is talking about is the long awaited sequel to the original Red Dead Redemption game which appeared on the PS3 and the Xbox 360 back in 2010. Red Dead Redemption 2 is set to be released on the PlayStation 4 and the Xbox One next month on October 26th. In addition, to the upcoming release of Red Dead Redemption 2 it was recently announced by RockStar that the game will have a new online multiplayer mode similar to that of Grand Theft Auto V.

This new feature will be called Red Dead Online which is expected to appear sometime in November on a date that has yet to be revealed. There is no question that the new online multiplayer mode will add to the overall replay of Red Dead Redemption 2 and might possibly be a feature that will help this surpass its prequel in terms of sales over the next few years. For those who have not pre-ordered Red Dead Redemption 2 be sure to check it out in late October following its official release.
